PTA

We are fortunate to have a PTA that is, and has been, an integral part of the school community at St. Clare’s for many years. The PTA has raised many thousands of pounds over the years and all of this money has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance the educational experience of our children.

 

All parents, carers and members of staff are automatically considered to be part of our PTA and we welcome anybody who would like to get involved in our fundraising efforts. Donations of your time are equally, if not more, as valuable as donations of funds - we appreciate any offers of help!

 

The majority of our funds are raised through the events we run. At St. Clare’s the PTA organise the Rainbow Raffle at Christmas, an Easter Raffle, a Summer Fair and several smaller events like cake sales and discos.

 

Every year we make a contribution towards the cost of coaches for the children to attend a pantomime, we buy Christmas and Easter gifts for all the children and we subsidise the cost of hoodies for our Year 6 leavers. We have had several larger purchases in the past and we are currently fundraising to buy and install a new trim trail for the KS2 playground - our biggest target to date!
